A Durban family is calling for justice after a 43-year-old woman and her 16-year-old daughter were allegedly stabbed multiple times during an attack at their home in Bluff on Thursday night.
KwaZulu-Natal police confirmed that a 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder. Both victims sustained injuries and received medical treatment.
The injured woman is the sister of well-known local artist Pastor Mjosti. Family members have appealed for support and a thorough investigation into the incident.
Police have confirmed that the motive for the attack remains under investigation, and the suspect is expected to appear in court soon.
