Fresh controversy has erupted around veteran politician Mosiuoa Lekota after explosive allegations of a love triangle surfaced, sparking legal and reputational questions.
According to reports cited by the Daily Sun, Lekota’s alleged live-in partner, Luzelle Adams, claims the two shared a home while his wife occupied a separate room in the same house. Adams alleges that she and Lekota slept in the main bedroom while his wife stayed in a visitor’s room, an arrangement she says lasted for a period during their relationship.
The claims have now spilled into public view, with Adams reportedly remarking that Lekota’s wife would one day be the “chief mourner” while she might become the “deputy chief mourner,” a statement that has intensified public scrutiny.
While the allegations remain contested and unverified, the saga has ignited debate about the private lives of public figures and the political consequences such controversies can carry in South Africa’s highly charged public arena.
