A small group of March and March members gathered at Gugu Dlamini Park in Durban on Thursday before setting off on their weekly march along Beatrice Street, where they carried out a community clean-up campaign.

Before the march began, the group chased a delivery rider on a motorbike near the Workshop vicinity. The rider escaped unharmed but left his motorbike behind.

The march then continued peacefully as members cleaned sections of Beatrice Street while calling for the removal of illegal immigrants from the area.

Participant Lindani Xulu (March Conviner) said the weekly initiative aims to reclaim public spaces, improve cleanliness, and draw attention to concerns over undocumented foreign nationals operating in the city.
