Kaizer Chiefs delivered a strong performance to beat TS Galaxy 2-0 in an exciting PSL Betway Premiership clash, securing all three points and climbing to third place on the table. The victory marks Chiefs’ second consecutive win after last week’s 3-1 triumph over Orbit College, giving supporters renewed hope for a strong finish to the season.

Sandile Mgoza expressed his delight at the team’s recent form, saying the back-to-back victories show improvement. However, he urged players to push harder, adding that consistent performances are needed if they hope to be considered for national selection ahead of the upcoming international competitions.Another supporter, Mukelo Mtshali, said she was relieved to see the team winning again after a difficult run of results.

“It was frustrating watching us lose so many games before. Now there is hope again,” she said.

Mtshali also praised goalkeeper Brendon Peterson for his solid display, suggesting he should remain the first choice going forward instead of Bruce Bvuma.Meanwhile, not everyone was pleased with the result. Orlando Pirates supporter Thandwayinkosi Mthethwa said Chiefs’ win could threaten his team’s position on the table.

He warned that if Chiefs continue winning, they could move into second place and qualify for the CAF Champions League, leaving Pirates to settle for the lower-ranked Confederation Cup.Despite mixed reactions, Chiefs’ momentum is clearly building.
