The Democratic Alliance (DA) has announced that Halalisani Ndlovu, recently named as ActionSA’s mayoral candidate for KwaDukuza, has crossed over to the party ahead of the upcoming Local Government Elections.
DA Federal Council Chairperson Ashor Sarupen joined the party’s provincial leadership for the announcement on Thursday.
Ndlovu said he needed to join a party big enough, with a real opportunity to govern, in order to help get KwaDukuza working.
The DA said Ndlovu’s arrival would strengthen the party’s footprint in the KwaDukuza Municipality as the election approaches.
