The Lean In Girls programme, part of Business Engage and supported iOCO Technology Group, is being introduced in KwaZulu-Natal for the first time, following its success in Cape Town.
The programme equips girls aged 11-15 with essential life skills, confidence and leadership tools to help them navigate life’s challenges and prepare for future leadership roles.
Three local Hammarsdale schools will form part of the programme: Phezulu High School, Ekwandeni Primary School and KwaMyeza Primary School.
Beyond learner development, the initiative also creates work experience opportunities for local women who will serve as facilitators, delivering the programme and supporting the girls throughout their learning journey.
The introduction of Lean In Girls to Hammarsdale represents an investment in the next generation of female leaders while creating opportunities for local women to develop their experience and skills.
