The Maskandi music community is mourning the tragic death of popular artist Scebi Mfowethu, affectionately known as “iNkosi Yamagcokama.”
The musician, who hailed from Msinga in KwaZulu-Natal, reportedly died in a car accident while travelling to Richards Bay to attend the Basadi Music Festival.
According to reports circulating on social media, the accident claimed Scebi Mfowethu’s life at the scene. Details surrounding the circumstances of the crash have not yet been fully confirmed.
