AKA Murder Accused Brothers Abandon Bail Bid

Brothers Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande briefly appeared in court as proceedings continue in the high-profile murder case of rapper Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA, and his friend Tebello Motsoane.The Ndimande brothers are among seven accused linked to the 2023 killings that shocked the nation.

The pair were extradited from Eswatini last year to face charges in South Africa.During their latest court appearance, the brothers abandoned their bail application, indicating they will remain in custody as the case progresses.The matter has been postponed until next Friday, when the State is expected to serve indictments to all accused.

The case is set to move to the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban in July, where the Ndimande brothers will stand trial alongside the remaining five accused.

The murders of AKA and Motsoane sent shockwaves across the country, drawing widespread attention and calls for justice.
