Police are investigating a viral social media video showing two women allegedly handling firearms inside a house. One of the women is believed to be linked to the ex-girlfriend of Tribby WaDi BhoZza, also known as Stoko sa Macde.According to reports, the women were seen cocking and displaying the firearms in the video, which has been widely shared online.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) says it is taking the matter seriously and is trying to identify the women involved.Police say firearms should never be used as entertainment or for social media content. SAPS warned that only licensed and trained people are allowed to handle firearms under South Africa’s Firearms Control Act.

Authorities also said the owner of the firearm could face charges if they allowed unauthorized people access to the weapon. Even if the guns are later found to be fake or imitation firearms, police say using them in a threatening or irresponsible way can still cause fear and panic.

The incident has raised concerns as Limpopo continues to face problems linked to gun violence, armed robberies, and illegal firearms.SAPS has urged members of the public with information about the video or illegal firearm possession to report it to the nearest police station or anonymously through Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
