Proteas and Hollywoodbets Dolphins Ladies star Nonkululeko Mlaba has made history after winning the Sportswoman of the Year title for the third time at the KwaZulu-Natal Sport Awards.
The prestigious event was held at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban on Saturday, where Mlaba’s consistent excellence on the cricket field was celebrated.Her achievement places her among the province’s most decorated athletes, highlighting her impact both locally and internationally as a key player for South Africa.
As part of her reward, Mlaba received a brand-new Volkswagen vehicle, sponsored by Jomo Sports SA, adding to the significance of her victory.
Speaking after the ceremony, Mlaba expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying the award motivates her to continue performing at the highest level and inspiring young athletes across KwaZulu-Natal.
