In a statement before the transition, Sizekhaya Holdings Chief Operating Officer Fundi Sithebe expressed that the new operator is dedicated to modernizing the National Lottery while keeping it fun and beneficial for South Africans. Sithebe mentioned that the company intends to roll out innovative technology and more thrilling gaming experiences, while also reinforcing the integrity of lottery operations.

She emphasized that Sizekhaya Holdings aims to foster public trust and ensure that the funds raised through the lottery continue to support community development projects throughout the nation. Sizekhaya Holdings will officially start managing the National Lottery on June 1.
