PHAKEL’UMTHAKATHI DENIES CLAIMS OF HAVING ZIMBABWEAN WIFE

Actor and controversial anti-immigrant activist Nkosikhona “Phakel’umthakathi” Ndabandaba has dismissed viral social media allegations claiming he is married to a Zimbabwean woman, describing the reports as false and driven by jealousy.

Speaking after the claims gained traction online, Ndabandaba said he has never had a Zimbabwean wife and insisted the accusations were intended to damage his reputation. He explained that he once dated a Zimbabwean woman, but the relationship ended because they were moving in different directions in life.

“I have never had a wife from Zimbabwe,” he said, adding that he carefully considered the relationship before becoming serious. Ndabandaba stressed that the breakup did not leave him bitter or hateful toward foreign nationals.

The activist, known for his outspoken stance on immigration issues in South Africa, claimed some individuals were attempting to undermine his work through personal attacks and misinformation.

Bekezela Dube, the woman linked to the rumours, also defended Ndabandaba publicly. She apologised for exposing aspects of his private life and said social media users had spread false information about him.

Dube further stated that Ndabandaba already has wives and children, dismissing the online allegations as misleading and harmful.
