VERULAM – A protest is currently underway in Mandela Park, Verulam, resulting in traffic disruptions in the area.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the affected area where possible and make use of alternative routes to minimise delays.
The Durban Metropolitan Police Service (DMPS) is on the scene monitoring the protest and managing traffic to ensure public safety. Authorities have urged road users to exercise caution and comply with all lawful instructions issued by law enforcement officers.
The cause of the protest has not yet been disclosed. Motorists are encouraged to remain alert and plan their journeys accordingly until the situation is resolved.
