Kaizer Chiefs have shifted their focus to the highly anticipated Soweto Derby following a frustrating goalless draw against Polokwane City FC on Saturday night.
The Betway Premiership clash, played at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, saw Amakhosi struggle to convert chances, ultimately settling for a single point. Co-coach Cedric Kaze admitted the result was not ideal but remained optimistic.
“We wanted all three points, but we will take what we have and move forward,” Kaze said after the match.Despite the setback, Chiefs are now fully focused on preparing for their next fixture — the Soweto Derby, one of the biggest matches in South African football.
The team is expected to regroup and sharpen their attack ahead of the crucial encounter, as fans eagerly await a strong performance in the derby showdown.
