It was an emotional night at the Durban ICC on Saturday, 5 September, as gospel artist Malusi Mbokazi celebrated a decade of musical excellence with The Revival with Malusi Mbokazi Live Recording.
The celebration brought together music lovers, artists and industry stakeholders, with the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Sport, Arts and Culture showing its support for the milestone.
A special moment came when MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture Mntomuhle Khawula took to the stage to honour Mbokazi and presented him with a commemorative framed portrait.
Speaking at the celebration, MEC Khawula praised Mbokazi’s contribution to the province’s creative industry, highlighting the importance of supporting local artists and creating platforms where their talent can flourish.
For Mbokazi, the 10-year journey represents more than music — it is a story of perseverance, faith and inspiring audiences through his gift.
The Department says it will continue supporting KZN creatives and strengthening the province’s performing arts sector.
A decade down, and the music continues. 🎤✨
