About 40 women gathered at the prestigious The Oyster Box on Friday, March 13, 2026, for the iSizwe Dialogue (Phinifa on Fleek) empowerment event celebrating women — known as Imbokodo.
The gathering, organised by Madam Noccy and Queen Mdolomba, brought together women from diverse backgrounds to engage in conversations focused on leadership, social challenges and community development.
Among the distinguished guests were Queen Mtshali, Thandeka Mngomezulu Myeni and Queen Myeni.
The dialogue started with the interpretation of Iphinifa and what ment to individuals it also created a platform for reflection and empowerment, with participants engaging in robust and candid discussions about the role women play in shaping stronger communities.
Speakers emphasised the importance of unity, collaboration and creating economic opportunities for women. Many shared personal experiences and strategies aimed at uplifting one another and strengthening support networks.
Organisers said the event marked an important step towards building lasting partnerships among women and expressed hope that the dialogue would inspire future initiatives advancing women’s empowerment across communities
