Former Bafana Bafana international Benni McCarthy has responded on whether he would be interested in the Kaizer Chiefs head coach position.
“They are happy man,” McCarthy said via 947 on MSW.
“But listen they a good team, very good players. If nobody came knocking on my door, that means they are happy. They happy with what they have. Because if you come knocking on someone’s door, you approach them.
“If they (Kaizer Chiefs) want, they know where I am. They know where to find me, they know how to make it happen. A rumour is just a rumour.”
Many fans are of the view Chiefs need an astute tactician for guidance in order to return to winning ways. On Tuesday they broke their fans hearts when they suffered a straight fourth defeat, losing 1-0 to Richards Bay FC in KZN.
Chiefs’ next game in the league is against Durban City at FNB Stadium on March 15.
