
Award-winning American singer Peabo Bryson has died at the age of 75.Bryson, who was best known for his powerful ballads and memorable duets, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, surrounded by family members. Reports indicate that his death came just days after he suffered a stroke.
The singer achieved worldwide success in 1991 with “Beauty and the Beast,” a duet with Celine Dion from Disney’s hit film Beauty and the Beast. The song became a major international hit and remains one of his most celebrated recordings.In 1992, Bryson teamed up with Regina Belle to record “A Whole New World” from the Disney classic Aladdin.
