
As they approach their international friendly at Moses Mabhida Stadium, Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has shown great confidence in his team’s preparedness, stating that they are eager to achieve a win against Panama.
During a crowded press conference in Durban, Broos emphasized the need to keep up the momentum for future competitions. “We respect Panama, but our focus is on our game. The players are driven, and we aim to win in front of our home fans,” he mentioned.
Broos acknowledged the warm welcome the team received upon their arrival, pointing out that fan support could be crucial. “Seeing that enthusiasm gives the players more energy. We need to repay that with a solid performance.”
Captain Ronwen Williams supported the coach’s views, stressing the importance of discipline and teamwork. “We’ve trained well, and we understand what is required of us,” he stated.
